Official exchange rates for September 16: dollar rises, euro falls

The National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted the value of foreign currencies for the next business day

The National Bank of Ukraine has released the official exchange rates for September 16. The US dollar showed an increase, while the European currency slightly lost value. This was reported by Minfin, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

According to the regulator’s updated data, the value of the US currency for September 16 has been set at 44.63 UAH. This is 2 kopecks higher than the rate recorded the day before, on September 15, when it stood at 44.61 UAH.

Changes in euro value

At the same time, the European currency is showing a reverse trend. The official euro rate for September 16 is 51.51 UAH, which is 1 kopeck lower than the figure from the previous banking day, when the euro was valued at 51.52 UAH.

Thus, currency fluctuations remain minimal, reflecting the NBU’s current market regulation policy. All established rates take effect and are used for calculations within the country’s banking system.
