Conditions for granting one-time financial aid to educators based on service
The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained the conditions for providing a one-time financial assistance in the amount of ten monthly pensions. Public sector employees have the right to such an amount upon reaching retirement age under certain length of service conditions. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Ternopil Oblast.
The agency was approached for clarification regarding the situation of a public sector employee who was previously assigned a group III disability pension. According to current regulations, upon reaching the general retirement age, citizens can count on additional incentives.
Requirements for teaching experience
The main condition for receiving the specified payment is having a long official work experience in the profession. In particular, the applicant for the funds has more than 30 years of teaching experience and worked in positions that grant the right to a length-of-service pension.
Regulatory framework for payments
The procedure for calculating such incentives is regulated by specialized legislation on compulsory state pension insurance. Paragraph 7-1 of the Final Provisions of the relevant law defines clear criteria for providing funds to education workers.
