The Ukrainian negotiating team will meet with Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff in the United States on Friday, October 9, with Budanov, Kyslytsia, Arakhamia, and Umerov participating. This was stated by the President of Ukraine during a conversation with journalists. This was reported by Ukrinform, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The head of state specified the personal composition of the Ukrainian delegation that traveled overseas for important consultations. According to him, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are involved in the negotiation process from the American side. Ukraine’s interests at these meetings are represented by Kyslytsia, Budanov, Arakhamia, and Umerov.
Involvement of European Partners
In addition to the American track of diplomatic efforts, contact with representatives of European countries is expected in the coming days. They are to join the Ukrainian-American negotiations to coordinate further steps. This was stated by the President of Ukraine during communication with representatives of the media.
Results and Return to Kyiv
The head of state expects to receive a full report on the results of the diplomatic mission immediately after its completion. The return of the Ukrainian delegation to the capital is expected as early as Monday morning. After that, the country’s leadership will be able to provide broader clarifications regarding the course and results of the conducted negotiations.
