The ranking of highest-paid professions is dominated by blue-collar and technical specialties. This was reported by Socportal citing OLX Jobs, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

According to OLX Work analytical company, in September 2026 the median salary for plasterers was 85 thousand hryvnias, which is 33% higher than a year ago. Dentists earn an average of 70,375 hryvnias (+28% year-on-year), and facade workers get 70 thousand hryvnias (+19%). These figures became the highest among all professions included in the study.

Ranking of professions by salary level

Technologists are offered 69,022 hryvnias (+31%), masons get 66 thousand hryvnias (+26%), long-haul truck drivers and tilers receive 65 thousand hryvnias each (+8% and +30% respectively). Panel beaters earn 60 thousand hryvnias (+9%). Out of the top eight leaders, six are representatives of blue-collar and technical specialties, most of which saw salary offer growth of 30% and higher over the year.

Highest salaries by industry

The real estate sector topped the ranking with a median salary of 40,358 hryvnias (+13% year-on-year). Construction and cladding stand at 38,080 hryvnias (+11%), car services and car washes at 36,042 hryvnias (+13%). Logistics, warehouses, and delivery demonstrate 17% growth with a median salary of 33,287 hryvnias. Lower figures in other sectors

Cleaning and household staff are offered an average of 14,066 hryvnias (+14%), security and safety 16,381 hryvnias (+4%), education and translation 17 thousand hryvnias (+27%). The gap between the highest and lowest median salaries reaches almost threefold, particularly between real estate and cleaning.

Expert commentary

Mariia Abdullina, head of OLX Work direction, noted that high salaries are concentrated not only in digital or office professions, but also in fields where practical skills and experience are critically important. Employers compete for qualified specialists, allowing candidates to significantly increase their income in professions that were not previously considered high-paying.

Data limitations

The analysis is based on vacancies posted on the OLX platform and reflects only a specific market segment. The median salary in ads does not guarantee actual remuneration for all specialists — real income depends on region, qualifications, schedule, and working conditions. Furthermore, the growth of salary offers does not always correspond to an increase in purchasing power due to inflation.
