Three drone strikes damaged a critical infrastructure facility on October 30
On the evening of October 30, Russian drones hit a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv three times. The resulting power outage caused a drop in water pressure across several city districts. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Катерина Коваль) citing Vitali Klitschko, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The enemy attack led to power cuts at several critical sites in the capital. Emergency energy teams are working to restore electricity and stabilise the supply system.
Water supply in Obolonskyi district has been fully restored. Meanwhile, Sviatoshynskyi, Podilskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts are receiving water with reduced pressure.
Water supply status across Kyiv districts
Water is completely shut off on the left bank of Kyiv, including Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Desnianskyi districts. The same issue affects Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts, where repair crews are working on site.
The strike occurred around 22:00, triggering power and water outages across the capital. Emergency services responded immediately to the affected locations.
Explosion in Shevchenkivskyi district and power system status
On the same evening, an explosion occurred in an apartment building in Shevchenkivskyi district, damaging a public bus nearby. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Power grid disruptions in Kyiv have become frequent: emergency cutoffs were introduced on October 21 after a drone strike, and a network failure left three districts without power on October 25. Over a single week, occupiers attacked Ukrainian energy facilities 76 times.
