Traffic restored in both directions on Pivdennyi Bridge in Kyiv

Transit is permitted only for vehicles weighing up to 10 tons

Kyiv has restored full-scale traffic on Pivdennyi Bridge in the reverse direction from the left bank to the right bank. Transit across this section is now open in both directions for passenger cars and vehicles weighing up to 10 tons. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of KMVA.

Kyiv City Military Administration announced the lifting of restrictions on crossing the Dnipro River within the capital. Drivers can once again cross the river towards the right bank.

Transit along this transport artery is currently organized in a restricted format. Motorists driving passenger vehicles are permitted to use the crossing.

The updated rules for crossing the bridge also apply to the payload capacity of vehicles. The permitted weight limit for transport vehicles is up to 10 tons.

Specialists from relevant services urge drivers to plan their trips across the city in advance. Traffic on the bridge is carried out along only one lane, which should be taken into account when calculating travel time.

Previously, traffic across this structure from the left-bank part to the right-bank part was closed for most categories of motor vehicles. Now transport communication between the banks of the capital has been partially normalized in both directions.
