In the evening, Russian occupation forces launched another large-scale air attack against Ukraine using strike drones. Air raid alerts were issued across a number of Ukrainian regions due to the threat of aerial weapons.
Consequences in the capital
In Kyiv, a drone impact caused a fire at a parking lot near a market in the Desnyanskyi district, as reported by Mayor Vitalii Klitschko. The flames engulfed the area near the central entrance, but firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
Monitoring channels reported air defense operations within the city limits. Additionally, power supply disruptions were recorded in several districts of the capital.
Explosions in the regions
Strike drones were recorded in various regions of the country. In particular, explosions were heard in Ternopil and Zhytomyr oblasts.
The invaders took advantage of weather conditions for the raid. Electronic warfare expert Serhii Beskrestnov stated that due to heavy cloud cover, the enemy launched dozens of conventional gasoline-engine Shahed drones, hoping to make it difficult for mobile interceptor crews to detect these targets.
