The joint project envisions a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade for one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training centers.
Ukraine and Denmark are launching a joint project to modernize one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training centers. Denmark will finance the upgrade of infrastructure and equipment for military training. Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on February 24, according to Korrespondet.net. PromPolitInform reports.
Fedorov met with Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
“Today, together with Denmark and the ‘Come Back Alive’ foundation, we are launching an infrastructure project to modernize one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training centers. Denmark will invest approximately €33 million in training infrastructure, living and sanitary conditions, equipment, and drones for training.” “The Come Back Alive Foundation, which systematically invests in the education and training of military personnel, is the implementing partner,” Fedorov noted.
The project envisions a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade for one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training centers. This will improve the comfort and safety of service members undergoing training at the center.
As a reminder, the Danish government announced the allocation of an additional 3.8 billion Danish kroner (approximately $545 million – ed.) to the Ukraine Fund for 2026. This will bring the country’s total defense spending this year to 3.5% of GDP.
