Four Ukrainian defense companies become partners of European manufacturers – agreements worth €800 million

Four Ukrainian defense companies have signed a package of cooperation agreements with partners from Denmark, Finland and Latvia totaling approximately €800 million.

This was reported in the Ukrainian Council of gunsmiths, informs the portal  PromPolitInform.

The agreements provide for cooperation in the production of unmanned systems and ground-based robotics, as well as the integration of Ukrainian technologies into the EU industrial chains.

The purpose of the partnerships is to quickly increase the production of solutions necessary for the Ukrainian army, taking into account European standards.

Some documents determine the initial level of cooperation, while others establish the framework for further steps and plans for production programs.

Details of concluded partnerships:

Culver Aerospace (Україна) та Copenhagen Global A/S (Данія)

The companies agreed on a five-year production cooperation in the field of UAVs. Focus on long-range strike drones (with a radius of up to 2.5 thousand km) and medium-range strike systems (up to 400 km).

TENCORE (Ukraine) and INSTA (Finland)

They discussed the cooperation of the ground-based robotic platform TerMIT and the production of ground-based robots for Ukraine.

Remtecnology (Ukraine) and New Paakkola Oy (Finland)

The partnership involves the production of a multi-purpose ground platform LEGIT. The companies are at the stage of establishing a joint venture in Finland. In the near future – the production of 1.5 thousand units of equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a further increase in volumes.

Terminal Autonomy Ukraine (Україна) та SIA Baltic Forces (Латвія)

The companies signed a framework agreement on cooperation in the field of reconnaissance and strike UAVs, cruise missiles and air defense systems. Currently, this is a preliminary stage without binding conditions.

Maxim Vasilchenko, CEO of TENCORE, noted that such interaction allows more efficient use of resources and technologies, achieving results that cannot be obtained in conditions of isolation.

“Thanks to this interaction, it is possible to achieve results that cannot be realized alone. Moreover, in modern conditions, when speed has become a critical factor, cooperation in production often becomes the key to success,” said TENCORE CEO, representative of the Ukrainian Robotic Forces Maxim Vasilchenko.

The Ukrainian Council of Gunsmiths adds that partnerships with Denmark, Finland and Latvia create the basis for:

  • Expansion of production capabilities;
  • Scale critically needed systems faster diversification of production and logistics risks in war conditions;
  • adaptations to European standards, quality and compliance procedures;
  • transition from one-time contracts to long-term cooperation with EU companies.

Build with Ukraine – a model that involves the creation of production lines in partner countries; export of production technologies and integration of Ukrainian experience into Allied supply chains; joint projects (in co-production or JV format) with Ukrainian companies.
