From June 15, 2026, large-scale repair work of the bus lane for entry into the Republic of Poland will begin at the Shehyny-Medica checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border. This was reported by the press center of the State Customs Service, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
The repair work will last almost a year and a half – until November 2027. In connection with this, during the entire specified period, the registration and passage of buses in the direction of departure from Ukraine to Poland through this checkpoint will not be carried out.
At the same time, the movement of passenger vehicles in the opposite direction – from Poland to Ukraine – will remain unchanged and will operate as usual.
The State Customs Service called on carriers and passengers to take these long-term restrictions into account when planning trips, inform customers in advance about changes, and choose other checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border for departure from Ukraine.
