On Friday, July 3, Kyiv declared a day of mourning for victims of the massive Russian strike. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced this.
“Tomorrow, July 3, is declared a day of mourning in Kyiv. In memory of the victims of the most massive enemy attack on the capital,” he said.
On this day, flags will be flown at half-mast on all municipal buildings in the city. It is also recommended that flags be flown at half-mast on buildings of state and private ownership.
Any entertainment events will also be banned.
So far, 13 people have died in Kyiv.
“The search and rescue operation in the damaged building in the Darnytsia district of the capital is ongoing. They are still looking for people under the rubble,” Klitschko added.
