The regulator revoked the licenses of three credit unions on August 20, 2026. The institutions were excluded from the state register based on their own applications. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the National Bank of Ukraine.

The Committee on Oversight and Regulation of Non-Bank Financial Services Markets adopted relevant decisions regarding KS NADIYA, KS SAMOPOMICH, and KS OBERIH. The procedure was carried out in accordance with special regulations applicable during martial law.

Financial indicators of institutions prior to exclusion

As of the beginning of July 2026, the assets of KS NADIYA were valued at 1.14 million UAH, with liabilities amounting to 0.65 million UAH. The SAMOPOMICH cooperative held assets of 2.18 million UAH and liabilities of 0.51 million UAH.

Procedure for terminating operations of unions

Pursuant to the National Bank of Ukraine Board Resolution No. 39, unions have the right to voluntarily waive their license during martial law. This option is available to organizations that have no obligations under deposit agreements with their members.
