A two-storey building was damaged in Holosiivskyi district following a Russian drone strike
During another Russian air attack on Kyiv on 30 August 2026, an impact was recorded in the Holosiivskyi district. An enemy drone struck a two-storey non-residential building. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the Telegram channel of Vitali Klitschko, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Russian forces continued their air strikes against the Ukrainian capital. On the night of 30 August 2026, explosions were heard and destruction was recorded in the city during a fresh attack using strike drones.
According to city authorities, one of the enemy drones hit a non-residential structure in the Holosiivskyi district. The strike damaged a two-storey building.
Consequences of air strikes on the capital
This attack was part of a massed Russian drone raid on Kyiv. Beyond the incident in the Holosiivskyi district, consequences of the enemy strikes were also recorded in other parts of the city.
Specifically, the drone attack caused a fire in the residential sector of the Obolon district, where flames engulfed several floors of an apartment building.
