On the night of August 20, Russian forces carried out a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, and explosions rang out across the city. The air raid alert sounded at 23:51.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Катерина Коваль) citing KCMA, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Kyiv City Military Administration urged residents to seek immediate shelter due to the threat of a hostile attack using ballistic weapons.
The military recorded the movement of missiles from a northern direction and confirmed the danger to the capital.
«Explosions in the capital. Kyiv is under a ballistic attack. Stay in shelters», — noted city mayor Vitali Klitschko.
