As a result of missile attack on Kyiv, multi-story building and children’s hospital damaged

As a result of a missile attack on Kyiv, damage to a residential five-story building and a children's hospital was recorded in the Solomianskyi district. Fires and destruction also occurred in the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Катерина Коваль) citing Vitali Klitschko, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

Falling debris was recorded near a residential five-story building in the Solomianskyi district of the capital, where a fire subsequently broke out and windows were damaged. According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the strike also hit the premises of a children’s hospital, on the territory of which cars caught fire.

Specialized services are working to clarify data on casualties at the incident sites

According to preliminary data, people were trapped in a shelter in the Solomianskyi district due to the consequences of the shelling. Emergency crews promptly headed to all locations to provide assistance.

At the same time, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported hits on the left and right banks of the city. In particular, a hit on non-residential development was recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district, and a fire in non-residential premises occurred in the Darnytskyi district.
