A 100-Year Partnership and a Drone Deal: What Ukraine Signed with Canada

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney concluded three documents: a strategic partnership for the coming century, an agreement to strengthen defense cooperation in the drone sector, and an agreement on energy cooperation. According to «The Page» and the «PromPolitInform» portal, this was announced during a joint press conference held by Zelenskyy and Carney following their meeting.

During the meeting, the parties signed:

A Declaration on a Centennial Partnership between Ukraine and Canada;

A Joint Declaration on Strengthening Defense and Security Cooperation between Ukraine and Canada (the “Drone Deal”);

A Joint Statement by Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources regarding energy cooperation between the two countries.
