Modern hybrid systems allow for significant reductions in fuel consumption
Experts have selected five crossover models available on the Ukrainian market known for their fuel efficiency. Prices for these vehicles start at 1,190,000 UAH. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Ігор Широкун), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The crossover market segment is currently transforming, shifting from purely image-based characteristics to enhanced fuel efficiency. Manufacturers are implementing hybrid technologies that allow owners to significantly save on operating costs in urban conditions and on highways.
Ford and Toyota model features
The third-generation Ford Kuga attracts buyers with the choice between a 1.5L petrol engine, a full FHEV hybrid, or a 243 hp Plug-In version. The vehicle is offered in three design variants, with a starting price of 1,190,000 UAH and fuel consumption from 5.2L per 100 km.
The sixth-generation Toyota RAV4 focuses on 2.5L hybrid power units with total output ranging from 230 to 329 hp. The GR Sport trim is distinguished by 20-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspension, and an aggressive exterior, while fuel consumption starts from 4.3L per 100 km.
Nissan and Honda technologies
The Nissan X-Trail is sold in Ukraine exclusively with electrified units, including MHEV systems and generator-based charging technology. The model is available in a 7-seat configuration and provides acceleration to 100 km/h in 7 seconds, consuming from 5.4L of fuel.
The sixth-generation Honda CR-V is based on a 2.0L engine, primarily acting as a generator to power the electric motor. The car features a spacious interior and smooth ride quality, with prices starting at 2,524,200 UAH.
French approach to ergonomics
The Peugeot 3008 combines traits of a family hatchback and a sports coupe, offering an atypical interior design with a compact steering wheel. The engine range includes a 1.6L turbo engine or a hybrid set, with fuel consumption from 5.4L per 100 km and a starting price of 1,350,400 UAH.
