Kyiv region communities received over 1 billion hryvnias in property tax

Proceeds from the tax on real estate other than land plots to the local budgets of the Kyiv region for January-August 2026 exceeded 1 billion hryvnias.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region, according to the PromPolitInform portal.

Property tax accounts for 3.8% of the total revenue of the region’s local budgets. The majority of the payment was provided by legal entities, who paid 656.3 million UAH. Individuals contributed 399.0 million hryvnias.

The largest amounts of property tax were received by the budgets of the following territorial communities:

– Borshchahivka rural TC – 104.8 million UAH;

– Bila Tserkva urban TC – 85.3 million UAH;

– Brovary urban TC – 70.7 million UAH;

– Bilohorodka rural TC – 58.7 million UAH;

Vyshneve urban TC – 53.9 million hryvnias.

As reported by the head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Kyiv region, Oleksandr Dvirko, taxpayers in the region remitted 22.6% more than during the corresponding period of 2025.
