Water supply restored in Kyiv following missile attack

The enemy strikes resulted in 16 people being injured across three districts

Water supply was fully restored in Kyiv after a nocturnal Russian missile attack on September 17, 2026. All infrastructure facilities are currently operating normally. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Kyivvodokanal, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The nocturnal enemy strike caused temporary disruptions to resource delivery for the capital’s residents. Specifically, fluid supply was partially suspended on the city’s left bank, while a drop in network pressure was recorded on the right bank.

Mitigation of consequences

Municipal services promptly carried out the necessary technical measures to stabilize the situation. Engineers and emergency crews restored the functionality of the damaged sections.

Affected districts

Residents of Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Solomianskyi districts suffered from destruction and civilian injuries. Overall, medical assistance was provided to sixteen people affected by the bombardment.
