Sweden provided Ukraine with 35 tons of energy equipment

A shipment with transformers and generators was sent to three regions

Ukraine has received 35 tons of equipment from Sweden to restore its energy system. The cargo includes diesel generators and transformers. This was reported by Delo.ua citing the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The received aid was distributed among energy facilities in Kyiv, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions. The equipment was transported from energy hub warehouses with the support of Swedish partners.

The Ministry of Energy expressed gratitude to the Swedish government, as well as the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency for the resources provided. Furthermore, support for the Ukrainian energy sector was provided by the company E.ON Energidistribution AB.

The Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations was responsible for the logistical support and delivery of the cargo. This equipment is critical for maintaining the stable operation of power grids in the specified regions.

This is not the first instance of such assistance from European partners. Previously, Ukraine received 18 tons of energy equipment from Switzerland, which included energy storage units, specialized cables, and other hardware for infrastructure needs.
