The invaders showed the highest activity in the Kostiantynivka sector
Since the beginning of the day, 164 combat clashes have been recorded at the front, with Russian forces launching 60 airstrikes and dropping 176 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Throughout the day, Russian troops also carried out one missile strike and deployed 6,230 kamikaze drones for engagement. The number of enemy shellings targeting populated areas and Ukrainian positions reached 1,795.
Situation in the northern and eastern sectors
In the North Slobozhanske and Kursk sectors, the occupiers launched three airstrikes using five guided aerial bombs. Additionally, 34 shellings were recorded in this area, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhanske sector, the invaders made six attempts to attack Ukrainian positions toward Starytsia, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, and Karaichyne. Four combat clashes there were still ongoing.
The Kupiansk sector saw five enemy attempts to improve their tactical position through assault operations toward Radkivka. In the Lyman sector, the Defense Forces repelled three attacks in the areas of Drobysheve and Lyman.
Intensity of fighting in the Donbas
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian units stopped an enemy offensive attempt near Ozerne. Meanwhile, no enemy assault actions were conducted in the Kramatorsk sector.
The invaders demonstrated the highest intensity in the Kostiantynivka sector, where the Defense Forces repelled 19 attacks. Battles continued near Kostiantynivka and toward Osykove, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Kindrashivka, Roskoshne, Hruzke, and Vilne.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 15 enemy attacks were recorded toward Dobropillia, Svitle, Myrne, Serhiivka, and Molodetske. According to preliminary estimates, 35 occupiers were eliminated and eight were wounded in this area.
Combat operations along the southern frontlines
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces carried out attacks twice toward Kalynivske and Berezove. The Huliaipole sector marked six repelled assaults near Vozdvyzhivka, Ternuvate, Rivne, and Hirke.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupation troops made one attempt to improve their position toward Pavlivka. Another enemy assault action was recorded in the Prydniprovske sector.
