Troops of the 40th Brigade halted enemy infiltration and captured two prisoners of war
Service members of the 40th Separate Marine Brigade successfully conducted Operation Audit in the Pokrovsk sector. During the combat mission, Ukrainian troops cleared a 5 square kilometre area of enemy forces and captured two Russian invaders. This was reported by Ukrinform citing 40th Separate Marine Brigade, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
All other Russian personnel detected in the designated area during the mission were eliminated by the unit’s troops.
Forces Involved and Operation Results
The movement and stream of enemy infiltration in this section of the Pokrovsk sector were completely halted through coordinated actions of several units.
Service members of a separate sniper company, a separate reconnaissance company, and the first marine battalion of the 40th Brigade participated in the combat mission.
Enemy Losses on the Front Line
Over the past week, Ukrainian forces neutralized 10,660 Russian military personnel killed and wounded across all areas of active combat.
