Infrastructure facilities sustained damage as a result of the enemy strike
On the night of October 6, 2026, Russian forces launched an attack on Odesa, resulting in damage to the city's infrastructure. This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had previously warned about the movement of jet-propelled unmanned aerial vehicles toward the southern city. Local residents and monitoring channels reported fires breaking out following the impacts.
The head of the municipal military administration confirmed the shelling and damage to civilian objects. Specialized services are currently clarifying the consequences of the enemy raid and gathering all necessary information.
The region regularly faces air strikes by the adversary utilizing various types of weaponry. In particular, dozens of civilians and residential buildings were affected during previous large-scale shellings.
