New pricing for business services covers shunting operations and technical documentation
JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has updated its list of contractual prices for works and services related to freight transportation. The changes will take effect on November 23, 2026. This was reported by Delo.ua, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The company has published an updated price list for services that regional railway branches provide to other business entities at market rates. The list covers a wide range of tasks necessary for supporting business logistics.
In particular, the adjustment affected the cost of stabling private railcars, their accumulation, as well as the placement of rolling stock for loading and unloading operations. Additionally, prices for services related to the documentation of shipments have been updated.
Freight transportation logistics
The list of services subject to new tariffs includes the procedure for reviewing, coordinating, and approving local technical specifications for cargo transportation. This applies to both railcars and containers for which the technical specifications were developed by the service customers.
New prices will also apply to operations related to making amendments, additions, and ongoing adjustments to existing local technical specifications. The carrier’s announcement did not disclose the specific monetary values of the new tariffs.
Logistics regulation
Business partners can review the updated documents on the official Ukrzaliznytsia website in the freight transportation section. Starting November 23, 2026, these prices will be applied for the relevant services.
It is worth noting that in November, the company is also optimizing the plan approval procedure for agricultural exports via western border crossings. Specifically, the carrier plans to reduce shipment volumes on routes where railcar waiting queues exceed 15 days, and revise approved plans every 10 days.
