Former British Chief of Staff is convinced Ukraine will win the war with Russia

European states must increase financial and defense assistance

Ukraine will win the war against Russia due to its ability to rapidly adapt, develop drones, and inflict increasing losses on the enemy, according to former UK Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Tony Radakin. This was reported by Ukrinform, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The speech by the British military commander took place at a special event in the Belgian capital dedicated to the defense of Europe. The admiral emphasized that the outcome of the confrontation will be the defeat of the Russian Federation and the success of the Ukrainian state.

According to the former official, the pace of innovation implementation and the scale of unmanned systems deployment exceeded the preliminary expectations of Western partners. The country has demonstrated the ability to find non-standard solutions to deter the enemy army.

Ukrainian military experience

The capability created in Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory is an important lesson for conducting modern warfare. Such nationwide resistance demonstrates results that are not yet fully comprehended at the international level.

«Ukraine will win this war, Russia will lose. And that is what the outcome will be», Radakin stressed.

Need for financial support

At the same time, the military commander drew attention to the weakening of Ukraine’s economic base over the past four months. This requires European allies to provide additional financial resources and strengthen military assistance.

«The only way to end this war is to force President Putin to the negotiating table. And that can only be achieved through coercion», the admiral added.
