President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that state structures are making maximum efforts for the successful implementation of the humanitarian operation in Oleshky. The head of state announced this during his evening address, emphasizing the need for support from international partners. This was reported by Ukrinform, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The head of state confirmed active work with international partners to expand Ukraine’s defense capabilities in the coming days. The country’s leader expressed gratitude to allies for their prompt response to requests for necessary aid packages.
At the same time, the country’s leader emphasized the need for broader international attention to ongoing crimes against people. In particular, it was stressed that it is important for the United States of America not to remain silent and to react publicly to the ongoing killings.
Arrival of representatives at the departure point
Separately, the Ukrainian leader mentioned the observance of the ceasefire by the defense forces to ensure the safety of humanitarian measures. Representatives of Ukraine, the USA, and Russia have already arrived at a special point from which cargo transportation will be carried out.
According to the President, positive changes in the humanitarian sphere should be felt not just locally on a single sector of the front. It is necessary to achieve general de-escalation by the Russian Federation throughout the entire territory of the state.
