Military personnel deployed attack drones and Neptune coastal missile systems to hit the industrial facility. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the Telegram channel of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Ukrainian military carried out a joint operation targeting a military-industrial facility within the territory of the Russian Federation. An enterprise that manufactures rocket fuel components in Rostov Region was the main objective of the attack.
During the mission, the Defence Forces simultaneously utilised unmanned aerial vehicles and domestic weaponry. Alongside the strike drones, the Ukrainian-made Neptune coastal missile systems served as the primary fire asset.
Deployment of Domestic Neptune Systems
Combining drones with cruise missiles enabled the forces to bypass countermeasures in the targeted area and reach industrial infrastructure located in the Russian rear. Detailed information on the scale of damage to the facility’s production lines is being clarified by the military command.
The plant in Rostov Region belongs to the adversary’s strategic industrial assets, playing a direct role in supply chains for Russian missile systems. Strikes against such infrastructure aim directly at disrupting the material and logistical capabilities of the opposing armed forces.
