The Russian side insists on the participation of the United States at the initial stage
Aide to the Russian dictator Yury Ushakov stated that the first rounds of war negotiations should take place in a trilateral format involving the USA, Ukraine, and Russia. The meeting could occur in the first half of November. This was reported by Glavcom citing Russian media, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
According to Yury Ushakov, representatives of European states may also join the dialogue in the future, but the discussions must begin with the participation of only three parties. The official justified this position by citing existing working contacts between Moscow and Washington.
Possible venue in Abu Dhabi
Earlier, information emerged regarding the organization of negotiations in Abu Dhabi. The Russian side expects that the negotiations could commence as early as the first half of November of the current year.
Stance on ceasefire
The Kremlin currently rejects the possibility of halting military operations for the duration of the negotiations. On October 26, press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov emphasized that the resumption of diplomatic dialogue would not involve any restrictions on the actions of the Russian army.
At the same time, the Russian authorities acknowledge the possibility of localized fire pauses solely for humanitarian reasons. Dmitry Peskov mentioned the arrangements concerning the situation in Oleshky as a potential example for other sectors of the front.
