Zaporizhkoks Produced 74,360 Tonnes of Blast Furnace Coke in January

Production volumes increased by 4.3% compared to January 2024.

Private Joint Stock Company Zaporizhkoks, part of the Metinvest Group and one of Ukraine’s largest producers of coke for the steel industry, increased blast furnace coke production by 4.3% year-on-year in January 2025 to 74.36 thousand tonnes. This was stated in the company’s press release, as reported by PromPolitInform.

Compared to the previous month, Zaporizhkoks slightly increased output by 0.3%.

In 2024, the company raised coke production by 2.1% compared to 2023, reaching 874.6 thousand tonnes.

The average monthly output in 2024 stood at 72.89 thousand tonnes, compared to 71.41 thousand tonnes in 2023.

Zaporizhkoks is one of the largest producers of coke-chemical products in Ukraine and is part of the Metinvest Group. Its primary consumer is the Zaporizhstal steel plant.
