DTEK has entered the top ranking of the largest taxpayers among private companies. It is noted that the company would have taken first place in the ranking if not for the excise tax burden on the tobacco industry, TSN reports. PromPolitInform portal informs.
This is evidenced by the ranking published by delo.ua.
“The company and our shareholder invest their own funds in Ukraine and attract external financing to create new infrastructure and modernize existing facilities,” DTEK said in a comment to the publication.
It is noted that during the full-scale invasion, DTEK implemented the first phase of the Tyligulska Wind Power Plant project with a capacity of 114 MW, investing €200 million, and continues to develop the station by investing €650 million in its construction.
Additionally, together with American partners, DTEK built Ukraine’s largest energy storage system with a capacity of 200 MW, worth €125 million.
Overall, during the war, DTEK has invested approximately €1.2 billion in Ukraine.
Earlier, Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK was recognized as the largest private investor among Ukrainian companies during the full-scale war.
