DTEK Ranked Among the Largest Private Companies Supporting Ukraine’s Economic Resilience

DTEK has been included in the Forbes ranking of the largest private companies contributing to the country’s economic resilience during wartime. According to the PromPolitInform portal, this was reported by OBOZ.UA.

According to the ranking, DTEK generated UAH 245.9 billion in revenue in 2024.

However, it is noted that Russian forces are actively attacking the company’s facilities, causing significant losses.

“DTEK’s assets are among Russia’s priority targets. In 2024, the company lost $350 million due to shelling of its power plants. Last year, Russia carried out 13 massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector. DTEK restored its thermal power plants from ruins more than 20 times,” the ranking states.

Earlier, it was reported that Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK is working on creating opportunities for foreign companies to invest in Ukraine.
