Russia attacked Ukraine with four hundred drones and over forty missiles. Rescue and repair work at the sites of Russian strikes continues where it is safe to do so. As reported by uraua.info, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this. The portal PromPolitInform reports.
“Over 400 drones and about 40 missiles of various types were involved in this attack. The main target was the power grid, generation, and distribution substations. There is damage in the Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Rivne regions,” the statement reads.
The president reported damage to a multi-story building in Rivne. In Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region, drones attacked the administrative building of an agricultural college. Strikes were also reported in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. Air defense systems continue to operate in several regions. The Ukrainian President emphasized that Russia has daily opportunities to resort to genuine diplomacy, but prefers to launch further strikes.
He also appealed to partners to provide the defense forces with missiles for the Patriot, NASAMS, and other systems.
