90% of deferrals from mobilization have already been extended automatically without the need for men to appear in the CCC.
Work continues on a comprehensive mobilization reform in Ukraine. This was announced by Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“We will propose a systemic solution to solve the problems accumulated over the years and at the same time preserve the country’s defense capability,” he said, but did not name any deadlines.
Before this commander-in-chief, Alexander Syrsky stated that CCCs provide 90% of the mobilized, and recruiting – only 10%.
Fedorov also noted that at present 90% of deferrals were extended automatically through Reserve+ without applications, certificates and trips to territorial recruitment centers. He recalled that recently this process lasted weeks and took a lot of resources, but now the system itself checks the data through state registers and extends the delay automatically.
The Minister stressed that the focus on manual processing of tens of thousands of applications and accompanying documents had changed to key defense tasks.
On February 10, the president signed a decree that people older than the age of mobilization would be able to conclude contracts for a year during the war.
Zelensky said that Ukraine wants to transfer the army from mobilization to contracts, but there is not enough money and European assistance would not hurt.
