From the evening of March 1 and during the night of March 2, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 94 shock UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas type and other types of drones, about 70 of them were “shahed.”
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Launches from the following directions are recorded:
Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, – Russian Federation;
Guards – TOT AR of Crimea.
Air defense operation
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 84 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas type and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
A hit of 10 shock UAVs at 4 locations was recorded, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at two locations.
“The attack continues, in the airspace of several enemy UAVs. Follow the safety rules,” the Air Force stressed.
