President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said that holding elections will be possible only after the war with Russia ends, and not during a possible ceasefire. He said this, Uraua.info informs, in an interview with the Corriere della Sera publication. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
The head of state noted that the main question now is when Kyiv will be able to return to the electoral process. According to him, the elections will be held only after the war ends, and not during a short-term ceasefire.
At the same time, Zelensky stressed that he is not sure whether he will run for president again, adding that everything will depend on the will of the Ukrainians.
Recall that it was previously reported that the Ukrainian leader admitted the possibility of organizing elections if a two-month pause in hostilities is achieved, declaring his readiness to hold them.
