Ukrainian companies filed more than 400 thousand financial reports for the past year within the established deadlines. This is about 30% of the total number of enterprises – 1,374,026 companies that were registered in the country as of the end of last year. It is noted that compared to previous years, the share of businesses that file financial reports on time continues to decrease. One of the reasons, experts call the cancellation of mandatory reporting at the beginning of a full-scale invasion. Even after the restoration of liability for untimely filing, the situation has not significantly improved.
It is reported that 412,055 reports have been filed so far, which is 4% less than last year.
“Financial reporting is not a formality, but the basis of transparent business. It allows partners, clients and the business itself to see the real state of the company, its position in the market and potential for growth. It is the openness of data that builds trust and new opportunities for cooperation – and this is much more important than any penalties for failure to submit reports,” commented Opendatabot CEO Oleksiy Ivankin.
Analysts recalled that from July 5, 2025, it has again become mandatory for enterprises, institutions and organizations to submit state statistical and financial reporting. Companies were able to clarify data for previous periods in early October last year.
At the same time, the income indicator reflects the total revenue of the enterprise from all types of activities and allows you to assess its position in the market. For its part, net profit demonstrates whether the company’s business model is profitable.
At the same time, as reported, the TOP-10 Ukrainian companies that showed the largest net profit over the past year became known.
In addition, as already written, the TOP developers of Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa were named, who in 2025 commissioned the most new housing.
