Overall, more than 50 public services will be transferred to electronic format.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to launch a pilot project on large-scale digitalization of services of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. The document provides for the creation of a single electronic ecosystem that will simplify the interaction of business with the state and transfer key permits online. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, Dengi.ua reports. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
It is expected that the new digital system will cover about 2 million business entities and will allow processing more than 60 million transactions per year. Overall, more than 50 public services will be transferred to electronic format, including state registration of facilities and issuance of operating permits. This should significantly reduce the time for considering applications and reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs.
The main components of the new platform for business:
integration of 16 existing state registers into a single portal with the ability to interact with “Diya”;
creation of personal electronic accounts for users;
launch of the “eFood” system and introduction of electronic cards of market operators;
a special mobile application for inspectors, which will allow recording the progress of inspections in photos and videos.
The new service centralizes access to services in the field of food safety, will allow businesses to track the review of documents online and will significantly increase the transparency of supervisory authorities. In addition, such digitalization of supervisory authorities is an important requirement of Ukraine’s European integration, as it ensures transparency of procedures and traceability of products according to current EU standards.
