Today, March 25, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on preparing citizens for national resistance. It provides for changes in learning for schoolchildren and students.
This was reported by the draft law №13347 on the website of the parliament, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
263 people’s deputies cast their votes “for” the adoption of the document.
The training will affect students and students regardless of gender. In educational institutions, a new discipline “Fundamentals of National Resistance” will be introduced, as well as the teaching of the subject “Protection of Ukraine” will be updated and improved.
In addition, the document provides for the creation of specialized centers for preparing citizens for national resistance, where they will conduct practical classes.
The practical part will include shooting – they will be carried out at the ranges of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, certified shooting ranges and with the help of modern interactive simulators.
It is noted that persons whose creed does not allow them to take up arms will be able to replace the “armed” modules of the course with other components of training.
Persons with disabilities or those who have lost their ability to work will be exempted from practical training.
National Opposition in Ukraine
Recall that Ukraine is introducing new approaches to teaching civilians the basics of security, defense and self-defense. In particular, schoolchildren and students study the updated courses: “Protection of Ukraine” and “Fundamentals of National Resistance.”
Recall that in Ukraine there is already a training ground for students who will take the course “Fundamentals of National Resistance.”
Minister of Education Oksen Lisovoy said that this is military training, and basic knowledge of security, orientation, pre-medical assistance and digital threats.
