The 28th MRB of the Armed Forces of Ukraine defeated enemy groups that had slipped from four directions: the combined assault on Konstantinovka failed.
In the Konstantinovsky direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine demonstrated exemplary stability, repelling a large-scale combined assault on Russian troops. The main blow was taken by the soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaignо separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign in cooperation with related units, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The invaders developed a complex attack plan, trying to break through from four directions at once. As a frank maneuver from Toretsk, two tanks “sewn’ with additional protection were launched.
At the same time, three groups of infantry had to storm:
The first group advanced in the Ivanopol region;
The second group tried to break through on motorcycles along the highway to Pokrovsk;
The third group moved along the railway track.
Despite the enemy’s hopes for the surprise effect and the complexity of the maneuvers, the Ukrainian defenders detected and stopped all enemy groups in time.
Results of combat work:
Armored vehicles: Destroyed one enemy tank.
Manpower: Eliminated at least 8 occupiers.
Prisoners: One invader is captured and testifies.
