Russian invaders launched 339 UAVs of various types in Ukraine.
This was reported in the Air Force, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Launches were recorded from the directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Gvardeyskoye – TOT AR Crimea, TOT Donetsk.
About 200 of them are “shaheds.”
How did the air defense work?
As of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 298 enemy UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south, east, west and center of the country.
A hit of 20 shock UAVs at 11 locations was recorded, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at 5 locations.
Currently, the enemy’s attack continues, in the airspace of about 20 enemy UAVs.
Consequences of shelling of Ukraine on April 1
Recall that this night and morning the Russian invaders carried out another massive drone attack on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Sumy, Krivoy Rog, Nikolaev, Khmelnitsky and a number of other cities.
In particular, in the morning it was loud in Lutsk. After the strikes, fires broke out in the city and significant smoke was recorded.
Local authorities urged residents to close the windows tightly to avoid harmful substances entering the dwelling.
As it became known, in Lutsk, a hit was recorded in the warehouse of Novaya Poshta, as well as in the grocery warehouse of one of the retail chains.
In Khmelnitsky, after the attack of an enemy drone, a fire also broke out. According to the OVA, an industrial facility was damaged.
Rescuers released footage of the elimination of the fire, showing how the extinguishing of the fire at the scene of the hit continued.
Also, Russian invaders attacked Nikopol of the Dnipropetrovsk region with a strike drone. As a result of the strike, 11 people were injured.
