Law enforcement officers literally a few hours later detained a suspect in the murder of a CCC soldier in Lviv. The defendant was the inspector of the Lviv customs. He faces a sentence of imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.

This is a Lviv citizen born in 1991. The police quickly established his whereabouts and detained him in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The motives of the deed are established.
Police investigators under the procedural leadership of the Frankivsk district prosecutor’s office began criminal proceedings under paragraph 8 of part 2 of Art. 115 (“Intentional murder”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment, the police say.
On April 2, at about 14:15, a message was received on special line 102 that an unknown person stabbed a CCC soldier in the neck on Paton Street in Lviv during an alert event. From his injuries, the victim died in the hospital.
To solve the crime, criminal police operatives, investigators, patrol policemen and employees of other police services of the Lviv region were involved. A police special operation was carried out.
On Thursday, April 2, a CCC soldier was killed in Lviv on Paton Street as a result of a stab wound to the neck.
According to preliminary information, the CCC soldier who died in Lviv is 52-year-old Oleg Avdeev.
