Ukrainian air defense in March destroyed more than 90% of enemy drones.
The Ukrainian air defense system during March 2026 demonstrated exceptionally high efficiency, reflecting the massive attacks of the Russian invaders.
According to the official data of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the defenders of the sky managed to intercept the vast majority of enemy air targets, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The enemy continued to use the tactics of exhausting Ukrainian capabilities, combining strikes with missiles and drones, which were launched in several waves.
In total, about 6,600 air targets were recorded during March, which indicates a significant increase in the intensity of shelling compared to February.
From the statistics of the defense department it follows that out of 6,463 launched drones of the Shahed type and other air defense models, 5,833 units were neutralized.
This represents 90.25% of the total number of drones that Russia has sent to peaceful cities and critical infrastructure.
The situation with rocket attacks also remained tense, but the Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners showed a decent result.
Of the 138 missiles recorded, 102 targets were destroyed, which corresponds to an efficiency of almost 74% in this arms segment.
The overall interception rate of all types of air targets in March was 89.9%.
Recall that the air defense shot down 24 cruise missiles Kh-101 and 2 missiles Iskander-K during a massive attack.
