Since the evening of April 5, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 141 strike UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones. About 80 of them are “shaheds.”
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The enemy attacked from the directions:
Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
Guards, Chauda – TOT AR Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 114 enemy UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
26 strike UAVs were hit at 17 locations, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at 13 locations.
“The attack continues, in the airspace of several enemy UAVs. Follow the safety rules,” – noted in the Air Force.
Russian strike on Ukraine on April 6
Russian troops tonight, April 6, fired at a number of regions of Ukraine. So, the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv region at night. As a result of the strike, more than 280 thousand subscribers in the Chernihiv and Koryukovsky districts of the Chernihiv region, as well as part of the Kyiv region, were left without light.
In addition, on the night of April 6, the invaders carried out a massive shelling of the sleeping areas of Odessa, as a result of the strike on the high-rise building there are dead and wounded.
