For four months in a row, starting from December 2025, units of unmanned systems of the Defense Forces of Ukraine neutralize more enemy personnel than Russia has time to recruit into its ranks.
This was emphasized by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky following a meeting on the development of unmanned systems, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
According to Sirsky, it is the unmanned forces that remain one of the key factors in maintaining Ukraine’s strategic initiative at the front and do not allow Russian troops to resume a large-scale offensive.
“For four months in a row, since December 2025, our units of unmanned systems have neutralized more enemy personnel than he recruits into his ranks,” the commander-in-chief said.
Losses of the enemy from Ukrainian drones
During the meeting, the results of March were also summed up. According to Sirsky, in comparison with February, the indicator of the total losses of enemy personnel inflicted by units of unmanned systems increased by 29%.
In addition, the number of verified targets affected in March increased by 50% compared to February and exceeded 150 thousand.
On average, units of unmanned forces already perform more than 11 thousand combat missions per day.
Increased efficiency of Middle Strike
Separately, Syrsky noted the increase in the effectiveness of Middle Strike tools, which operate at an operational depth of 30 to 120 kilometers.
According to him, in March almost 350 such strikes were inflicted. 143 logistics facilities and warehouses of the enemy, 52 control points of the Russian army, 20 facilities of the oil and energy industry of the Russian Federation were hit.
Also, the number of tasks performed by ground-based robotic complexes has increased by more than 50% compared to February.
The enemy is building up its potential
At the same time, Syrsky drew attention to building up the enemy’s potential. According to Ukrainian intelligence, as of early April, the number of Russian troops of unmanned systems increased to 101 thousand troops, and by the end of 2026 the Russian Federation plans to increase it to 165.5 thousand.
“We have no right to stop in this decisive confrontation,” the commander-in-chief emphasized.
Following the meeting, he identified new tasks for the further development of unmanned systems in various branches of the Armed Forces.
Recall, according to the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian interceptor drones destroyed more than 33 thousand Russian UAVs in a month.
