The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the rules for the comprehensive analysis of state-owned enterprises, limiting their number, clarifying the requirements for international companies and introducing control over the implementation of their recommendations.
The Cabinet of Ministers has made amendments to the order of November 13, 2025 No. 1223, which concerns the conduct of a comprehensive analysis of the activities of individual enterprises of the state sector of the economy. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, this is reported by the “Sudovo-Yurydychna Gazeta“.
In particular, the government has limited to nine the number of state-owned enterprises to which such an analysis applies. The requirements for the profile of international companies involved in its conduct have also been clarified, and a list of areas in which the relevant assessment will be carried out has been determined.
As noted by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, requirements have been established for the implementation of recommendations provided by international audit and consulting companies based on the results of the corporate governance assessment, and verification of the implementation of these recommendations is also provided.
