DTEK’s energy infrastructure and special equipment damaged in Kyiv after attack

As a result of another massive attack on Kyiv, energy infrastructure facilities and specialized equipment of energy companies were damaged. DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks reported this, Life.kyiv.ua reports. The PromPolitInform portal reports.

According to the company, a transformer substation and a high-voltage power line were damaged as a result of a missile strike and drone attack. The company’s employees were not injured.

The energy company’s production site, where equipment for emergency and restoration work was concentrated, was also damaged. It is separately noted that 29 units of transport were damaged by shrapnel, including emergency vehicles, excavators, loaders and other special equipment.

After receiving permits from the State Emergency Service and military specialists, work has already begun to eliminate the consequences of the strike and restore damaged equipment.

The energy company emphasizes that despite the destruction, the teams continue to work on the ground. DTEK notes that the main goal is to restore stable power supply in the capital as soon as possible.
