The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces of Ukraine, struck an enterprise of the military-industrial complex and a number of oil facilities in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation, as well as military infrastructure and air defense systems of the Belbek airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the agency, the Angstrem plant, which supplies semiconductors for the Russian military-industrial complex and is under US sanctions, was hit in the Moscow region. As the PromPolitInform portal informs, this was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, Gazeta.ua reports.
The Moscow Oil Refinery, the Sonechnohirskaya Oil Pumping Station and the Volodarske Oil Pumping Station were also hit.
In occupied Crimea, according to the SBU, the infrastructure and air defense systems of the Belbek military airfield were hit. Among them are the Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft complex, a hangar with a radar for the S-400 complex, the Orion drone control system and the Forpost UAV ground control station. A ground-to-air data transmission point, a control tower and one of the airfield hangars were also hit.
The SBU stated that such operations are aimed at weakening the military potential of the Russian Federation and its logistical capabilities. They emphasized that strikes on military-industrial complex enterprises, energy infrastructure and air defense facilities reduce Russia’s ability to continue the war against Ukraine.
As a result of the drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow region, a number of facilities were hit, including a technopark, an enterprise, oil infrastructure and an airport.
According to sources, this refers to the Elma technopark and the Angstrem enterprise, located in Zelenograd – one of the districts of Moscow. The released footage from these locations shows fires and thick smoke.
It is noted that the resident enterprises of the technopark specialize in the production of electronic equipment, control and measuring instruments and optical equipment. The total area of the technopark is 60,000 m², the land area is 6 hectares.
