On the night of May 25, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 262 drones. Air defense forces shot down or crushed 246 UAVs of various types, the attack continued from several directions.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The enemy used UAVs such as Shahed (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas and drones-imitators such as “Parody” Recorded launches from the following directions:
Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
Guards – TOT AR of Crimea.
Air defense operation
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 246 enemy UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country.
A hit of 10 shock UAVs at 9 locations was recorded, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at 7 locations.
