On the night of May 26 (from 18:00 on May 25), Russian troops carried out a combined air attack using ballistic missiles and strike drones.
This was reported to the Air Force, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The enemy fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the territory of the Rostov region of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 122 strike UAVs of various types, in particular Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and Parody imitator drones. UAV launches are recorded from the following directions:
Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
Guards – TOT AR of Crimea.
The work of air defense and the consequences of the attack
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 111 enemy UAVs in the north, south and east of the country.
9 strike drones and missiles were hit in 11 locations, as well as the fall of the wreckage of downed drones in three more locations.
