Schoolgirl from Vinnitsa Anastasia Konokhova confirmed knowledge of English at the level of “pro” (C1). This achievement was recognized as a record. The 13-year-old girl was recognized as “the youngest Ukrainian who confirmed the level of knowledge of English at the level of S1 on the SAE scale.”
This was reported by the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine Lana Vetrova, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Anastasia brilliantly passed the Cambridge exam, receiving 198 points out of 210 possible: almost on the verge of S2.
“This is the level of language proficiency that makes it possible to speak fluently on scientific, technical, narrowly professional topics, to recognize the hidden meaning and the most subtle linguistic nuances. So while her peers teach London is the capital of Great Britain, Anastasia explains to the British why their grammar is sometimes lame, “said Lana Vetrova.
